2026-04-25 (Superscript)
I went to see my friend Hun’s first gig with his band Superscript (formerly Toy Garden). I had never been to Underground Lounge before, but it’s a cool little basement bar with a good vibe. Superscript played first, then a solo act with a backing band called Rani, and finally another band called Indigo Cave. I took some photos for Superscript and Rani for free just for the fun of it and to do a bit of networking. Indigo Cave hired their own photographer so I decided it would be respectful to get out of the way. Also it was getting late and I was tired and hungry. It was fun to see my friend and his band perform though and they all seem to be very happy with the photos I took for them and that makes me happy too. Hopefully I can see them play more and take more photos for them! Narrowing these photos down from the nearly 400 that I took to just these 20 was a difficult but fun process. I’m really happy with the 20 I settled on but I did have to let quite a few other cool photos go in the process.
