2026-04-16 (Leica Gallery)
A new Leica store opened downtown. To celebrate the opening, they hosted a small gallery featuring photos of local Leica shooters. Edgar Corona, one of my favorite photographers was featured so I wanted to go see his photos and maybe meet him. The Leica store was very nice with some attractive displays of their cameras on the first floor, and the gallery on the second. There was a small band playing music and many people browsing the 30 total photos on display. After browsing all the photos and reading the descriptions written by the photographers, I found Edgar and was able to chat with him for a bit. It was really cool to meet him since I had only been familiar with his work I saw online until then. I left shortly after and since I had brought my X-T10, I figured I’d shoot a few photos while I was downtown. A thick fog blanketed the city and diffused the evening sun in such a beautiful way. I think that made for some really cool photos.
