I went to Austin, Texas to hang out with my friend. He booked us a tour on Lady Bird Lake, which is really more of a river, to see the bats that live in the Congress Ave. Bridge. I happened to visit during SXSW which was pretty unfortunate as the flights were expensive and there was a lot of noise downtown, but we got to the lake just before sunset and were able to watch it on the water while the bats left their home for the night. It was really beautiful and the tour guide was really chill too. I had a good time on his boat.
