To celebrate the opening, they hosted a small gallery featuring photos of local Leica shooters. The Leica store was very nice with some attractive displays of their cameras on the first floor, and the gallery on the second. I decided I should take it out today and switch between it and my 35mm lens as a sort of “zoom”. I’m really glad that I did decide to bring it out. I put my shutter speed and iso on auto and used the camera like a disposable point-n-shoot. I really had a fun time shooting on it and trying the film simulations, although I had the grain simulation off for most of them! One of my favorite features of the camera was the film simulation bracketing. Geddy Lee of Rush and Chris Squire of Yes both used one among many other great players like Paul McCartney of The Beatles. After the Westone Spectrum bass (which I don't really count anymore) my first bass was a Made in Mexico Geddy Lee Signature Fender Jazz Bass.
